How Your Money is Protected

Every transaction on Kindred Guild follows a clear, auditable path:

        When you post a quest with coins:

        Your reward + 10% commission are locked immediately. This ensures you have the funds. The worker knows the money is real. When work is approved, coins release to the worker. If there's a dispute, both sides can appeal.

        When you post a quest with UPI:

        You pay the worker directly peer-to-peer. We only hold the 10% commission in coins as a safety deposit. This protects us from fraud while keeping your payment direct.

        If something goes wrong:

        Coins are refunded. UPI payments are documented. Disputes are resolved by reviewing proof of work. We don't take sides—we follow the evidence.

Who We Are

Kindred Guild is built and maintained by one person — no venture capital, no corporate board, no ad revenue pulling the incentives sideways. It exists because gig work shouldn't feel like a cold transaction with a faceless platform taking its cut and disappearing when something goes wrong.

The guild survives on three things, all disclosed upfront: a 10% commission on quests, optional donations from people who believe in the mission, and optional coin purchases. That's the whole model — nothing hidden behind it.
